We have many opportunities for fun, fellowship and spiritual growth. For more information on specific activities within each group, you may call the church office.
Adult Bible Study
Every Sunday morning we offer Adult Bible studies classes at 9:30 a.m.
Wednesday Nights Bible Study is in the Sanctuary at 7:00 p.m.
Men's Ministries: Our Men’s Ministries ministers to all ages. We have weekly, monthly and quarterly activities for fellowship and Bible Study.
Weekly Bible and Breakfast. Every Monday at Denny's on 20th West and Ave. K at 6:30 a.m.
Monthly Fellowship on the 3rd Thursday of every month at 7:00 p.m.
Quarterly activity: campouts, fishing trips, retreats, etc.
We also have a “Helping Hands” ministry to do light fix-it projects for shut-ins and the disabled of CLA.
55+ Ministry
Our 55+ Ministry meets every other month. These meetings include breakfasts at Primo Cafe (on Division), BBQ’s, outings to such places as the Reagan Library and Getty Museum, and activities such as miniature golfing.
Women's Ministries
Our Women’s Ministries activities include the opportunity to grow deeper through learning, prayer, fellowship, encouragement, and fun. A variety of activities take place each month. Every Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. is Women’s Bible Study. Periodic activities include Friendship Fridays (food, fellowship, and a devotion), Wake Up & Smell the Coffee (breakfast and devotion at a local restaurant), and Ladies’ Day Out (lunch and shopping out of town). A Women's Retreat takes place once a year in late September. Activities will be posted in Events as scheduled. Come try out an activity--we would love for you to join us!
